Magic Cup Café is the first concept in the DFW area to offer a drive-thru for guests' convenience. Inside, customers will find a relaxing environment to enjoy a refreshing drink and light snacks with friends. Our Bobaristas are here to handcraft each drink to your liking and customize it with regular or less sweet, and non-dairy milk options.
The grand opening will be on May 7, 2023, and will include a Lion Dance and Art performance with Rising Phoenix from 1-2 pm and DJ Sunshine from 2 pm to 4 pm.
What Is Bubble Tea?
Bubble tea originated in Taiwan and has become extremely popular in the U.S. Guests can select from a variety of base teas and added flavors and add tapioca pearls, jellies, chia seeds, fruit, popping boba, and other ingredients to make a fun and tasty drink to enjoy with friends in a comfortable tea shop.
Magic Cup Cafe offers a wide range from black or green tea to milk teas with boba, jellies, and fresh fruit add-ins.
What Is Boba?
Boba is the traditional name for the chewy tapioca pearls used in boba tea. Developed in Taiwan in the 1980s, the chewy pearls at the bottom of a boba tea cup consist of cassava root starch. At Magic Cup Cafe we cooked our boba fresh every 4 hours and sweetened it with natural raw cane sugar and honey.
There is also popping boba, which has a thin chewy shell made using molecular gastronomy, often from ingredients like sodium alginate, calcium chloride, and calcium lactate. Inside the popping shell is a sweet-colored liquid, typically with a fruit juice base.

The new boba tea and coffee store in Arlington offers inside and outdoor seating and it's the first concept that has a drive-thru in the DFW area for guests' convenience.

Fruit Smoothies
Traditional fruit smoothies come in a range of classic flavor combinations like strawberry banana, mango peach, pineapple watermelon, and pina colada. These icy blended fruit treats are delicious on a hot Texas day.

These traditional green tea drinks come with an assortment of flavors, topped with fruit pieces, grass jelly, chia seeds, aloe vera, and popping boba flavors.
